Perburuan Uang Brazil

Berita: Rahasia Di Balik Perburuan Uang Brazil

Quick & Easy Korean Cooking

I love Korean food and found "Quick & Easy Korean Cooking" by Cecila Hae-Jin Lee to be a nice little cookery book full of Korean recipes. My wife is Korean, and she liked it too. (Just because she is Korean does not mean she knows how to cook every Korean dish without a reference)

The photographs in the book are great, especially some of the ones from different places in Korea. However, I'd have really liked to have had a picture of each dish that was in the cook book. My wife commented that she would have liked a picture of each dish too.

The recipes are divided into the following categories: Appetizers and Snacks, Soups and hotpots, Small Side Dishes, Chicken Beef and Pork, Fish and Shellfish, Kimchi and Other Pickled Things, Rice, Noodles, and Sweets and Drinks. There are short chapters on sauces and other basics, quick and easy Korean menus, and some other resources on the Internet and other books. The beginning of the book also included some notes on Korean food, a glossary of Korean ingredients and useful utensils for cooking Korean food.

Each recipe has the Korean name under English people name, but not in Korean characters, or Hangul. The name is in Romanization. That is the only Korean in the book. Lee also included different facts about the foods such as history of the dish, or when it is served. The recipes themselves are just like the title states, easy and quick to make.

If someone wants an attractive book of quick and easy Korean recipes with additional information on the dishes, this is a great book to get. We're looking forward to trying each and ever recipe in the book!

THE ARMY ON THE MARCH

 1. Sun Tzu said: We come now to the question of
encamping the army, and observing signs of the enemy.
Pass quickly over mountains, and keep in the neighborhood
  of valleys.

 2. Camp in high places, facing the sun. Do not climb
heights in order to fight. So much for mountain warfare.

 3. After crossing a river, you should get far away
  from it.

 4. When an invading force crosses a river in its
onward march, do not advance to meet it in mid-stream.
It will be best to let half the army get across,
  and then deliver your attack.

 5. If you are anxious to fight, you should not go
to meet the invader near a river which he has to cross.

The Flowers

All the names I know from nurse:
Gardener's garters, Shepherd's purse,
Bachelor's buttons, Lady's smock,
And the Lady Hollyhock.

Fairy places, fairy things,
Fairy woods where the wild bee wings,
Tiny trees for tiny dames--
These must all be fairy names!

Tiny woods below whose boughs
Shady fairies weave a house;
Tiny tree-tops, rose or thyme,
Where the braver fairies climb!

Fair are grown-up people's trees,
But the fairest woods are these;
Where, if I were not so tall,
I should live for good and all.

System

Every night my prayers I say,
And get my dinner every day;
And every day that I've been good,
I get an orange after food.

The child that is not clean and neat,
With lots of toys and things to eat,
He is a naughty child, I'm sure--
Or else his dear papa is poor.

ORGANIZE YOUR CUSTOMER MAILING LIST FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS.

A list of customers who have previously bought from you is your most
important asset. These are the customers who will provide you with return
business, which is more profitable than the first sale. But, are you
getting the most from your customer list? There are some secrets you should
know, so you can squeeze the most benefits out of your mailing list.
Most business' customer lists consist of this information: Name, Address,
City, State, Zip. That's it. Unfortunately, this mailing list is almost
worthless. You need to have more information in your files than just that.
I have 32 information fields in my customer database! You should be able to
set these up in your computer's database, or, if you don't use a computer
(you REALLY should), all this information should fit on a large size index
card in a card file.

The Miser and His Gold

Once upon a time there was a Miser who used to hide his gold
at the foot of a tree in his garden; but every week he used to go
and dig it up and gloat over his gains. A robber, who had noticed
this, went and dug up the gold and decamped with it. When the
Miser next came to gloat over his treasures, he found nothing but
the empty hole. He tore his hair, and raised such an outcry that
all the neighbours came around him, and he told them how he used
to come and visit his gold. "Did you ever take any of it out?"
asked one of them.

"Nay," said he, "I only came to look at it."

"Then come again and look at the hole," said a neighbour; "it
will do you just as much good."

Wealth unused might as well not exist.

Moving People For Profit

The term "Reloctation Consultant" is an all-encompassing business that
involves everything that has to do with transferring people.
The task of a relocation consultant may include any or all of the
following activities and services that generally come with moving to a
new location:

  + Select a moving company.
+ Selling the old house .
+ Finding and buying a new home or renting a new apartment.
  + Suggesting schools, churches, etc.
  + Spouse job placement counseling

Of course you choose which services you want to include in your repertoire.
However, on a joint-effort with other professionals in your area, you can
really offer an extensive menu of services.

Relocation consultants do not own moving companies. They hire moving
companies for and on behalf of the client. As a relocation consultant,
you also deal with real estate agents, travel agencies, and career
consultants. You control the middle ground where all these services merge
to fulfill the needs of your client.

SHELTER IS #1
The most important issue in any relocation is where your client will
reside in their new city or state. Some clients buy a home in the new
city before they move. Others prefer to rent, giving themselves enough
time to become familiar with the area before buying a house.
Most relocation consultants receive their commission from the real estate
agent. However, if your client wants to rent, as opposed to immediately
buying a home, the company relocating your client will more than likely
pick up the tab, usually equal to one month's rent.

Some rental properties, however, will pay a relocation consultant a
commission equal to one month's rent.

CORPORATE FIELD
You can do a real volume business by targeting large corporate accounts.
Companies in high-technology related products and services are the growth
markets in relocation.

Contracts for technical top-guns range 3 to 5 years, so you can expect
excellent turn over in the high-tech industry. Concentrating on a specific
industry gives you credibility and lots of referrals.

newspaper delivery

During periods of high inflation, most people have to "tighten their belts," and watch their expenditures a bit more closely. After all, buying on credit and attempting to spend more than you have coming in is a sure-fire road to financial ruin.

In order to live within your income - keep the bill collectors off your back - and not really lower your accustomed standard of living, this report is made up of a number of proven ideas to help you.

One of the first things you should do is take write out a budget. You do this by listing your total take home income on one piece of paper, and all of your regular monthly obligations on another piece of paper. A good idea is to set up a separate envelope for each of your bills - use the envelopes from your incoming mail for these, marking on the front of each envelope what it's for.

There should be an envelope for your mortgage or rent payment, for any payments to loan companies, and of course your charge cards, for your groceries, your lights, heat, water and telephone costs. Then, as you get paid, cash your check and divide the money you have into each envelope. If you're "strung out pretty tight," you may have to contact each of your creditors with a request to lower your payments, and extend them over a longer payback period. If after making out your budget - and actually seeing on paper how much money you've got to pay your bills - this is necessary, then by all means get in to talk with your creditors. Tell them about your situation; explain to them that you've taken a look at your income/outgo situation, and have devised a plan and work with you in everyone off. In almost all instances, they'll welcome your plan and work with you in every way possible to help you get caught up.

Probably the biggest area in which you can cut your expenses is with your groceries. To do this, always make a detailed and itemized list of the things you need before you leave home. Total up the costs and if it goes beyond the amount you want to spend or have to spend, simply go back through your list marking off those things lease necessary. Never go grocery shopping when you're feeling hungry!

When making up your list of groceries to buy, always check your local newspaper for best buys - if you've had to discontinue newspaper delivery - check your local post office about midweek and you'll find "grocery shoppers' supplements" stacked up by people who don't want them. Go through your papers with a fine tooth comb and compare prices. Shop at the "no frills" stores, the "food barns" and liquidation sales.

By all means, clip out the "cents off" and refund coupons. Keep a sharp eye out at all times for these coupons and use them - if they're for brands or items that you don't want to use, offer to trade them with people who want them.

It almost goes without saying that when you're trying to watch your expenses, you'll have to give up snacks and eating out. Instead of buying a candy bar to munch on as you walk through the store, buy a bag of apples and take one with you from home. Instead of eating out once a week, cut it down to once a month and make it a real reward for having lived within your budget for the preceding month.

With your cooking, prepare more of your meals from scratch instead of serving processed, pre-cooked or hear and serve meals. Save your foil/transparent plastic wrap - just wash it and use it again. Use paper towels or do without napkins. Use bread wrappers and save those place containers - just wash and use them for keeping leftovers. Use washable cloth handkerchiefs instead of expensive facial tissue.

Clothing is another area in which most people can save. Instruct everyone in your family that there won't be anymore new clothes purchases until you've got your finances reorganized - instruct them to learn to value and take care of the clothes they have - make them last longer. Learn to sew on buttons, repair ripped seams, and sew on patches. Never throw anything away - if something becomes outgrown or no longer wanted, save it for a garage sale or trade for something you can use at a second hand store.

Learn all you can about auto upkeep and minor repairs. Visit your public library and explore what is available that you can use to learn how to "do-it-yourself" instead of having to pay someone to do it for you. Talk with your relatives, neighbors and co-workers about swapping services - you do little odd jobs for them in exchange for their doing things for you that you either can't or don't want to do.

Save and sell all materials that can be recycled such as aluminum, bottles and paper. Don't splurge on gifts - either at Christmas or on birthdays. Think of things you can either make yourself or trade for - often-times a handmade card is a gift-enough when times are tough.

And finally, don't go shopping at the big advertised sales if you don't have the cash in hand to buy a needed item. A savings of $50 on an item that puts you $50 in debt is no savings at all. At the bottom line, before you buy anything, ask yourself if you "really" have to have it!

playground equipment

Whenever possible, you should encourage the children to be outside during play periods. If you have lots of playground equipment, you won't necessarily always have to have organized games, but you will have to have a playground supervisor - someone
to watch the children and see that they don't get hurt as they play. You can hire part-time help for this chore, perhaps from the local colleges, for minimum wage. If your city ordinances do not cover the specific age requirements of a playground supervisor, you might be able to hire students from your neighborhood high school. Select all the people you hire relative to their affinity with children and their dependability. Be aware of today's climate of extreme concern in protecting children in day care situations.

Your playground will require a fenced-in area. Drive around and look at the playground equipment in the playyards of your public schools and at day care centers in your area. You should have the basic sandboxes, swings, slides and jungle gyms but in
this area you can be creative and original, provided your equipment meets safety standards.

Some states require that you have a registered nurse on the premises, but generally, the main things needed are medical information from the parents and a written procedure to follow in case of accident or illness. Basically, when a child is injured
or be comes ill, you should take him to the nearest medical center, while another staff person gets in touch with the parents, and explains what happened. If the parent cannot be present at the medical center, all information should be passed on to him/her immediately it is available.

It's a good idea to have all your helpers indoctrinated with basic Red Cross first aid knowledge, and have a well-equipped first aid kit on the premises. As for any requirements relative to a full-time nurse, you should be able to hire registered nurses
who are either not working or looking for extra income. You might be able to "hire the license" of a registered nurse. You pay a small fee to hang her license in your office, and she agrees to be available to serve your needs when you call.

Most day care centers are currently charging from $35 to $65 per child for a five day week, plus $5 to $10 more for the inclusion of breakfast, with another $l per meal when they serve an evening meal to the child. If you do not receive pay in advance, you can very quickly get "in the red." We strong suggest setting up your financial structure and clients' payment schedules with this in mind.

By having your customers pay in advance, you'll eliminate a lot of bookkeeping chores and time, the problems of collections, and you'll have operating funds with which to run the business. A point to stress when asking for payment by the month, in advance,
is that because monthly payments are based on only four weeks of day care, they'll be getting a week of free service every three months.

Every profitable day care center requires a sharp manager or director. This person might be yourself, or someone you hire for the job. Regardless, this person will be the key to your success. The director should have an empathy with people, be an excellent judge of people, be sales oriented, and have an outgoing personality. As much as anything else, this person must have the ability to listen to, and really hear what other people are saying
without the influence of preconceived opinions, or making snap decisions. This person has to have the success of your business in mind at all times, which means building and maintaining an impeccable reputation.

Your director will be responsible for the hiring and supervision of your other help and the budgeting, scheduling and overall day-to-day operation of the business. It is imperative to the success of your business that you have the very best person you can get in this position, regardless of the cost. A good director for a day care center will command a salary equal to teachers in your public schools, plus fringe benefit allowances
such as free enrollment for their children and perhaps medical and dental insurance if you choose to provide group coverage.

When a prospective client calls to ask you about your services, you should explain how you operate, and emphasize your invitation for them to bring their child in so that the two of them can be taken for a tour of your facilities.

Once in the center, your manager or director takes the parent and child on a tour, all the while explaining to parent the advantages of the center's structured learning and play program as compared with everyday run-of-the-mill baby-sitting services. It's important to have the child along, because as he sees the other children at play, he will be drawn to them, and this will greatly influence the parent in deciding that your center is the
right place for his child.

After the tour, steer the parent back into your administrative offices and propose enrollment of the child. Begin by asking where the parent works, what hours and if he or she ever has to work overtime. You then ascertain the hours they'll want to drop off and pick up their child.

Strict procedures are absolutely essential regarding the pick- up of any child. Frightening as it may be to contemplate, we have all read accounts of strangers (or non-custodial parent) kidnapping a child. Printed forms must be provided, and authorization signatures must be compared when anyone other than the legal guardian takes a child from your care. You will learn these requirements from your licensing office. Our advice to you is to follow them meticulously.

You should have a slickly printed, quality brochure showing your rates, your services, an outline of the curriculum, and a statement of your benefit goals for the children.

Check with a legally qualified person about the need for a contract. The parent will probably simply fill out a questionnaire-file card giving address, place of employment,
medical information about the child, and place he or she may be reached in case of emergency.

Most day care centers accept all children between two and six years of age. And there are many nowadays who take infants from six weeks. Of course, your personnel in this situation will be thoroughly oriented in infant care, and you must ascertain if these babies are well when brought in to you. Otherwise, you put yourself in the position of "hospital" care instead of day care.

Generally, children aren't allowed to bring toys from home. You may want to allow the children to bring their own blanket from home for nap time, but if you allowed toys from home you would be opening "Pandora's box" of possible problems relating to sharing and ownership. In light of this, you will want a full complement of appropriate toys and play items in your center.

If you decide to include short-term baby-sitting services, a good idea would be to include within the layout of your facilities a small one-bedroom apartment for a live-in or couple. An older retired couple would be ideal, with the husband serving also as maintenance and handy-man.

Around-the-clock baby-sitting services, in addition to your regular day care center, can add tremendous and immediate cash-flow profits to your business, but correspondingly increase your payroll for qualified personnel. Such services would enable the parents to drop their children off in the evening, and leave them around the clock or over the weekend. There will generally be no need for any planned program because these children will be sleeping during most of the time they're in your care.

As you establish the image and reputation of your day care center, the parents in your area will be much more inclined to leave their children with you for baby-sitting duties. And because you are considered tops in the area of responsibility , you'll be able to charge the very top rate of the baby-sitting fee structure. Keep current with fees charged by other quality businesses similar to yours.

The demand for unplanned or emergency baby-sitting services is very large. Not too many day care centers are aware of this potential for extra profits yet, but the ones that are find that their incomes can increase by 30 percent or more! We certainly
recommend consideration of this idea for anyone involved in a day care service.

Another area that could mean enhanced profits for you is bus or van pick-up service for the children. Of course, this would increase your operating costs (and consequently your fees) but the convenience of pick-up is gaining in popularity. You'll need a custodian for indoor and outdoor cleanup, and if you have access to a bus or van, he could be assigned additional duties as the driver. Some day care centers offering pick-up service for their children contract with local transportation services to provide this service. Be certain of the driving experience of your driver if you contract for this transportation service.

Most day care centers open with very little fanfare or advertising. Generally, even without advertising most are reporting 90 percent capacity enrollment within six months.

With grand opening fanfare, and a strong advertising campaign, you should be able to be at 90 percent capacity within your first six weeks. In an area where a severe short age of day care facilities exists, and with the right advertising and promotion, even sooner.

Your first step should be the door-to-door, hand-out distribution of a quality informative brochure. To save on costs, you can hire students attending advertising classes in your area colleges or even a free lance advertising copywriter to help you with the design and writing of this brochure. However, the bottom line should be that you have a good commercial printer do the printing on the best paper you can afford. All of this has to do with the image you're wanting to create, and the quality of the service the "buyers" feel they're getting for the prices you are charging. Don't skimp on your brochure - you're aiming at people looking for the best place for their children.

You should place at least a two-column by four-inch grand opening display ad in your local newspapers. At the same time, you should place similar ads in the local magazines and other publications catering to the working mother. Send along a group
picture of your staff, and a story about your services with your advertising order. Phone the editors at your local newspapers, radio and TV stations and invite them out to your grand opening.

Be sure to place a "service information" ad in the yellow pages of your telephone directory. This should be the largest size you can afford. And remember that you need to make contact for a yellow page ad well in advance of the release date of the directory.

After your grand opening, and until you attain full capacity, continue to hand out your brochures at the entrances to the office buildings which house companies employing working mothers. Continue to run ads in your local newspaper, although these ads
needn't be quite as large or run as regularly as the grand opening ads. Run an ad in the classified section describing your baby-sitting services.

At your grand opening, offer free refreshments for everyone. Coffee and punch for the adults, with juice for the children, and cookies for everyone. You should have members of your staff circulating among the parents to answer any questions and hand out
brochures about the center.

You can begin small, and expand in stages with your profits. However, you must draw up a long-range plan detailing exactly what you intend to do, and each milestone you'll have to pass before proceeding to your next goal. In this way, you c an succeed and
attain not only the ultimate business, but also the kind of profits planned at the start.

The basic, and bottom line secret to success with your own day care center will be your ability to hold your costs in line while achieving maximum capacity enrollment. You've got the plan, and my best wishes for success!eir children off in the evening, and leave them around the clock or over.

AN EASY SOURCE OF EXTRA INCOME FOR ANYONE

AN EASY SOURCE OF EXTRA INCOME FOR ANYONE

One of the easiest (and best) ways of making extra money is by collecting old newspapers and selling them to a "recycling plant" in your area.

Just look around your own home - in the garage or the basement. What do you do with the old newspapers after you've read them? Most likely they just pile up in a corner of the garage or basement until one of your kids asks if he can haul them off for the school or cub scout paper drive. Or maybe your wife and kids get ambitious some week end, clean out the garage and haul all those newspapers off to the collection truck at the local
shopping center.

It's true that selling stacks of newspapers you've accumulated during the past couple of months or so won't make you rich, or really amount to much extra income. But think about the stacks of old newspapers you would have if you were to collect and haul away for the people in your neighborhood - say a ten-pound stack of newspapers from each house on your street every Saturday. The picture changes, doesn't it?

If you're serious, and get yourself properly organized, you can easily make $300 or more every weekend.

Right now the going rate for old newspapers is about $50 a ton, depending upon your area. Most recycling depots prefer the papers loose, rather than bundled or sacked. Check with the recycling plant you plan to sell to before delivery to them. Cardboard - ordinary cardboard boxes that have been flattened - is bringing approximately $75 a ton. If you're going to collect old newspapers, you may just as well take cardboard too. Most people have old boxes around that are just taking up space, and some will even pay you to get rid of them.

You start by clearing a space in your garage for storage. One side of a two-car garage, or just an 8 by 12 foot space would be sufficient. If you have a garden shed that is dry, that would work well also. Some collectors even rent space in a neighborhood mini-warehouse.

Next, you should place an ad in your community newspaper or the weekly shopping news, something like this: Junk, old newspapers and cardboard boxes hauled away. Phone 123-4567. Then you visit your neighbors. Tell them you are collecting and
hauling away all the old newspapers and boxes in he neighborhood each week. You might even offer them $5 a month if they'll have everything ready for you when you make your weekend collection rounds.

On Saturdays, starting at about 9:00 a.m., rent an open trailer and hitch it to your car. If you have a pick-up truck, so much the better. With your wife and kids, a couple of neighbor boys, or perhaps a couple of teenage "huskies" you've hired through your local high school, start making your rounds. You drive the car with the trailer. Your helpers, one on each side of the side, knock on each door and ask the residents if they
have any old newspapers or cardboard boxes you can haul away for them.

It would be advantageous for you to have a large sign on each side of your trailer, and on each side of the car as well. It might read: Paper Collection Service.

Visit the people you've talked to on your block first. That will give you some paper in the trailer and from there, you just expand. Go to the next block and the next, driving up and down the streets, visiting, stopping at all the homes, in an ever expanding ripple from your own street.

When your trailer is full of old newspapers, you can either take them directly to your recycling plant and sell the load, or take them to your storage area, unload them, and get everything organized. It's very important, though, that you get right back to the job of knocking on doors and collecting more newspapers and cardboard.

Some people will (foolishly) collect a load, take it in for sale, and then waste time gloating over the easy money they've just made. One load won't make you rich or even really pay for your time. Get right back on the job and collect as many loads as the daylight hours will allow.

Make the same rounds; follow the same collection routes, at least once every two weeks. Once you've hot the routine working well, you'll be ready to hire a couple of high school or college students to help, perhaps with another car and trailer.

The best way to pay your help is with a percentage of the tonnage you sell. And then too, once you have it all together, you'll want to go with a truck or trailer that allows you to haul a couple of tons of paper per load.

It's important that you make regular rounds, calling on the same houses regularly. After about six months of this, you'll be ready to open a local recycling depot.

This simply means taking the accumulation of paper out of your home or garden shed and moving it to a business location. Because of your advertising in the newspapers, and the sign on your truck or trailer, people will be calling you during the week to come and pick up paper they have ready for you. Also, your neighbors will very likely be dropping by with armloads of paper for you from time to time, as well. Specifically, these are the reasons you'll need storage space to store the paper in your garage or other storage area until you have enough to load up and take to the recycling plant.

One of the best locations for your recycling depot is an abandoned or closed down service station. Or perhaps a vacant lot, or even a corner of a large shopping center parking area. You'll need a scale (you can rent or lease one of these for a small amount), and a quick set-up tent or large truck. What you want to do is establish a location where people can come to you. They bring their newspapers, you weigh what they've
brought and pay them a penny a pound for newspapers and two cents a pound for cardboard boxes. You can hire someone to man this center for you during the day, or perhaps only open between 4 and 6 o'clock in the after-noons. Advertise your hours, and be dependable, so that people can count on you.

To establish your location, you'll have to check with the owner or management, and agree not to interfere with their regular mode of business. If you do go to a shopping center parking lot, sell them on the idea that your recycling depot - clean and neat - will actually bring more people into the shopping center on a regular basis. The important thing always is to establish yourself in the best possible location for the least amount of money from your pocket.

Even though you have a collection depot, you'll still want to continue your week end collection rounds. But with a collection depot, you can hire other people to do the driving, knock on doors, make the collections and transfer their loads into the depot facility. If it's a big truck or trailer, you'll be selling ten to fifteen tons of paper when ever you make your trips to the recycling plant.

Another important thing you should think about doing is getting the whole community involved with you. Get them to thinking about recycling paper and selling it to you. Run some promotions; work for free publicity; and be conspicuous. Don't be embarrassed; everyone is aware of the need for recycling everything that can be recycled. And you'll be admired as someone with the ambition to make it happen.

The complete business start-up manual, HOW TO START YOUR OWN PAPER RECYCLING SERVICE, can be obtained from the distributor who supplied this report.

Workplace Injuries

It's been estimated that employers pay almost $1 billion per WEEK in direct costs related to workers' compensation. What's even more astounding is according to the National Safety Council, the indirect costs exceed the $1 billion mark to a tune of $4 billion per week! With these facts in mind, is this really the time to cut your safety budget?

Did that raise your attention level? I hope so, because this problem doesn't rest on the shoulders of the insurance companies. It rests on the shoulders of every business owner and something needs to be done. Now.

One of the first steps in controlling this ever growing giant is to educate the very people in charge of their company's workers' compensation and safety programs. Many of these individuals are aware only of the direct costs; i.e., what they pay for their workers' compensation insurance.

We all know keeping your employees safe and healthy is the number one priority, or should be, of every company across the country. However, companies need to be competitive in order to be profitable and remain a significant player in the marketplace. Yet sometimes, companies looking to cut costs will consider slashing its safety and workers' compensation budget.

With that said, this move may end up costing the company more money than what it could potentially save. Workers' compensation and safety budgets are too often viewed upon as a shade of gray. Meaning, it's very difficult to truly see value and monitor the rewards of your efforts in hard dollars. The only thing black and white is the dollars going out in workers' compensation premiums.

As we just described above, the direct costs of safety and workers' compensation are the premiums paid, safety investments, and incentive programs. The indirect costs can be described as all unbudgeted costs associated with an injury in order to get the employee back to pre-injury status. With a direct versus indirect cost ratio of 4:1, the indirect costs need to be identified to understand the implications of each injury that occurs. Some of these costs include, but not limited to:

Damage to equipment, machinery, materials, facility, etc.
Production downtime
Lower employee morale
Loss of products or services
Delays in shipment or filling orders
Additional overtime
Managers' lost time resulting from the accident. Also includes inspections, investigations, meetings, and administration
Employees assisting with the accident. Includes administering first aid, and witness interviews
Hiring and training replacement workers
Wages of replacement workers
Other non-productive time incurred by the injured employee. Includes all medical related appointments
Potential OSHA penalties
Attorney fees

Preventing Prostate Cancer

Even though it's possible to somewhat prevent prostate cancer, it just can't work for every person. It's still strange but nothing ever works for every person, especially because our bodies are different and work differently. This article contains 5 super tips that will help with preventing prostate type of cancer.

1 - Lose Weight: It's best to cut down on your weight as much as possible. Too much weight isn't good for your health and this might somewhat increase your chances of developing the condition. But of course this hasn't been proven - it's just a general good idea to cut down on your weight.

2 - Engage in Exercises: Exercises help to keep us generally healthy and can help to somewhat prevent prostate cancer. This also hasn't been 100% proven, but it helps to always engage in some form of "activity" at least a couple of times each week. Does it hurt if we do this to preserve our general health? Of course not. It will surely help clean out our systems generally.

3 - Eat Lots of Fruits and Vegetables: They help to flush out the toxins which gather in your body and which may cause abnormal growth of cells in your prostate. Fruits and vegetables contain fibers that help to empty toxic particles in the cells.

4 - Cut Down on Red Meat: Instead, you should eat lots of fish. Omega-3 fatty acids are sourced from some kinds of fish. These substances help to reduce the appearance of cancer cells in the body. In the US journal of clinical cancer Research, a publication was made which revealed that eating oily fish could reverse inherited prostate cancer genes.

5 - Eat Tomatoes: They are rich in a substance known as Lycopene. This substance is an antioxidant that gets rid of free radicals in the cells. Free radicals cause growth of cancer cells in the body.

Controlled (RC) Aircraft

There is something about flying that excites and amazes certain people. Many people often dream of flying, but resist following that dream because it seems too difficult and too expensive. However, the excitement and dreams of flying have become a reality with radio-controlled (RC) aircraft. Actually, some of the RC aircraft today can give you the best flight of your life. If you would talk to a dedicated RC plane hobbyist, they would tell of the excitement of heading to an RC field on a warm, sunny day to fly their planes and to enjoy the camaraderie of other hobbyists and RC club members. It is always amazing to see the many different styles of aircraft and how they maneuver through the air.

Radio-controlled planes have a rich history, and provide a suitable hobby for all ages and skill levels. Flying enthusiasts have a large variety of aircraft to choose from, making the hobby more exciting for all hobbyists from the beginner to the expert. You can pick and choose what you want depending upon your taste and the available money you have to spend. Generally, the ideal choice of a particular RC plane depends upon a combination of style and pilot skill level.

For beginners, park flyers are a great choice. The term "park flyer" denotes small, primarily electric planes. They are so named because they are small enough to be flown inside public parks. The recommended aircraft for beginners is an A-R-F (Almost Ready To Fly) high-wing trainer. A-R-F planes are already built and don't require a lot of time and building experience to get ready for flight. A-R-F planes also have fairly large wing spans (60-70 inches) which aid in better visibility and flight operation.

For intermediate hobbyists, there are glow plug engine planes and electric powered planes. Glow plugs, which are similar to spark plugs, ignite the fuel in the plane operating as a small internal combustion engine.

For the expert pilot, jets, helicopters, and competition aircraft are very popular and provide an exciting challenge. Sophisticated electronics and speed controllers have now taken the controlling of an RC airplane to higher levels. These aircraft are no longer considered toys just to play around with. Jets commonly use ducted fans or micro turbines to power them. They are constructed of carbon fiber and fiber glass. Jets can achieve speeds over 200 mph, requiring quick reflexes and many hours of flying experience. Helicopters are trickier to fly than planes and are much less forgiving.

If you want to get started flying RC planes the following information may help you:

Flying aircraft of any type is not a skill we are born with. Purchasing any radio-controlled aircraft and trying to fly without some basic knowledge may possibly result in the destruction of the model. When this happens right off the bat, most prospective flyers get discouraged and pass on an exciting hobby. Flying RC aircraft is not difficult but does require some practice to become proficient enough to have your plane soar through the skies and return for a safe landing. Teaching yourself to fly is possible; however, if you find a local flying club and seek some help from the experienced flyers is the ultimate way to learn. A flight simulator can aid in learning the fundamental movements and actions of an airplane. It is an easy and convenient way to practice the simplest turns to the most complex maneuvers. It must be remembered that the flight simulator does just what it's name implies, it simulates the actions of an airplane. The simulator is not the real thing and most planes react differently in the air.

Menopause

Menopause is a disorder that starts to develop in women when they reach mid thirties and early forties. As the level of estrogen that is a very important hormone in the woman's body start to decrease, then that phase is known as premenopause. As a result women who experience premenopause will suffer menopause symptoms such as hot flashes at night along with sleeplessness, excess vaginal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycles.

A variety of choices to cure or reduce the impact of menopause symptoms are taken by patients depending on the patient's case and the consultation with the doctor. A type of menopause treatment might not be preferable for a certain woman while that same treatment may show work perfectly with another woman. Let us look further into discussing some popular products for menopause in the market.

Herbs that derived from the roots, shoots and leaves of certain plants and trees such as Chaste Tree and Black Cohosh are often used as products for menopause because of the immense advantages which they provide to the patient. Black Cohosh is used to relief menopause symptoms like hot flashes while Chaste Tree is used to regulate the levels of body's hormone. Then there are oral care products such as menopause toothpaste which made from natural sea salts that can fights tooth decay and bad breath naturally.

Beside the herbs that mention above, Ayurveda is also suggested by doctors as one of the products for menopause. The use of Ayurveda products have been proven no negative effects and are totally safe. Many women have use Ayurveda products to help them to live a healthy life.

Another menopause product which should be mentioned here is the new calcium soft chews for women who go through menopause. The calcium soft chews should be taken everyday because they give vitamins and vital calcium to the body. Moreover these soft chews can also be consumed by children and adults who aren't experience menopause symptoms.

Faraday Sleeping Cages

The future of medicine is no doubt going to include a lot of vibrational frequency schemes. Why you ask? Well, it is pretty simple. You see, cells vibrate at a specific frequency, healthy cells are able to communicate and do what they do best. If your body vibrated at the correct frequency all the time, your immune system would be virtually unstoppable, and that would mean you could prevent illness, and cure yourself of nearly anything.

This is why at least a few futurists are speaking out now for devices that surround human sleeping areas, like a Faraday Cage, which blocks out disruptive frequency, which is all around us from our personal electronic devices, to our radio, WiFi, TV, and cell phone transmitters. None of this is very good for us, although some of the frequency ranges cause us little harm.

Now then, if we can block out the bad frequency from bombarding our body and causing us harm or disrupting our bio-rythms, then we could then use a surround sound system within the Faraday Cage to bombard our bio system with good vibrations; "Good, Good, Good, Good Vibrations," or so the song goes. Can you see the benefits here?

Why Girls Need Their Daddy

Fathers Day is the perfect time to reflect on how very important fathers are. We all know how much boys need their dads, but what about girls? Do they need their dads as much as boys do? Can mothers provide everything a girl needs, or is there something very special that only a father can provide?

Fathers are vital to their daughters. The way a woman feels about herself is very much dependent on how she was treated by her father as she was growing up. Without a father's unconditional love, girls can grow up to have low self-esteem and low self-image. The lack of a father's love can leave a girl with serious self-worth issues, especially if she perceives that her father abandoned her. Girls who've grown up without a father's love can subconsciously crave male attention and seek to fill this void in unhealthy ways. Feeling 'not good enough' for a good loving relationship with a man, they are vulnerable to becoming involved in abusive relationships or becoming promiscuous. They are more at risk of teenage pregnancy due to going through puberty earlier and becoming sexually active at a younger age. Women who have missed out on their daddy's love are also more at risk of developing depression.

It's been heart-warming to witness the relationship blossom between my husband and our daughter over the past five and a half years. I remember standing at the doorway of our daughter's bedroom one night as her father tucked her in and said goodnight. "Daddy, you're my true love", she said as she wrapped her tiny arms around his neck. Gracie, like most other four-year-old girls loves fairytales--stories of princes rescuing princesses, true love's kiss, and happily ever after. Her daddy is her prince, her protector, her provider, and her true love. It brings me such joy to see how different my little girl's experience is to my own.

Sadly, like me, there are millions of young girls growing up today without their daddy's love. Their prince, provider and protector is not there to give his princess the special love that only a father can give. Today, up to around a half of marriages end in divorce. This means that many children are growing up in homes where they are separated from one parent, most often their father. Unfortunately, in some cases, mothers are unnecessarily preventing their daughters from maintaining vital contact with their father because of the pain and bitterness of divorce. Sadly in many homes, instead of love, some girls are being abused by their daddy. Sometimes daddy's present in the home but he just isn't there for his daughters. Then there are the children conceived outside of a committed relationship who are being left to be raised by their mother. There are also many children being raised by only their mothers, who choose IVF in their desire for a child. Is it possible that many mothers as well as fathers do not realise just how much their children, regardless of their gender, need both a mother and a father?

Unfortunately for me and my siblings, my father was a violent alcoholic who was ripped from my life when I was a child. We didn't even get to say goodbye. I have very few good childhood memories of him, but I remember how much my heart ached when there was no contact after we were separated. I grew up craving my father's love and found myself in painful relationships, feeling unworthy and starving for the love of a man. I went through two divorces, debilitating clinical depression, sexual abuse and domestic abuse.

Secrets to Good Article Writing

Regardless of the type of business you go in to, article writing is a necessary skill for a business owner. Whether you are starting a brick and mortar business, a business opportunity, or a franchise, you need to use the internet to reach your customers and potential customers. Article marketing is an important part of internet marketing, and it's not just for internet marketers. You will also need content for your web site, newsletters, and e-mail series. The fact that article marketing is a necessity for internet success is not a secret, but the secrets to good article writing are often well kept. This is because those who can write articles well for internet purposes don't wish to teach others how to write good articles. They would much rather convince them to outsource the articles to them so they can make more money. This is, of course, an option. But the fact of the matter is that the less you have to outsource the more profits you will keep for yourself. So the wise thing to do is to learn the secrets of good article writing. There are really only three main secrets that apply to all article writing for the internet, regardless of the venue in which it will be published. None of these elements are that difficult to understand, but they are often left out of articles published online. The first secret is that your articles must be grammatically correct or few people will read them, and no one but you will publish them. Secondly, your articles have to give information. You can't just write a lot of advertising copy. You have to give your readers information they can use. Finally, you have to keyword optimize (not keyword stuff) your articles so that the search engines can find them and your readers can find you. There is much more information available. You can go to ezines and others and they provide very good training.

Personality Secrets

Loyalty, perseverance, devotion, enduring to the end -- all of these describe values that are highly prized by Golds. These qualities are realized in the following behaviors:

Sticking to the task until the task is through.
Staying married to someone even though the going gets rough.
Remaining with your long-time employer even though a competitor has offered to double your salary.
Staying at work past midnight to get the proposal finished.
Going above and beyond the call of duty.

These are touchstones every Gold seeks. Therefore, they tend to be a dedicated lot that you can count on to keep their word when push comes to shove. They believe in order to excel, they need to be completely dedicated to their chosen path. They need to be prepared to work hard and be willing to accept criticism, even if it is negative. Without 100% dedication, they believe they will never be able to achieve their goals.

The person who makes a success of living is the one who see his goal steadily and aims for it unswervingly. That is dedication. -- Cecil B. DeMille

One aspect of dedication that shouldn't be overlooked is that dedicated people separate themselves from the crowd. When a building is dedicated, it is given a specific mission that sets it apart from other structures. It is reserved for a special purpose or for a specific audience. Similarity, when people are dedicated they set aside their normal life in order to accomplish a special mission or objective. They focus all available time and energies to accomplish their goals. It is this separation than makes success possible.

Facing the Future

Some people find it hard to face the future: they prefer to live in the past, or at least, that part of the past which they really enjoyed. That's OK, though. Some people can make a good living out of their nostalgia.

Artist Lawrence Cassidy is used to making the most of things. When he saw that his local High Street clothing store was shutting up shop in Manchester, England, he walked in and asked them to give him the plastic coat hangers that they had planned to throw out. They offered him two huge cardboard boxes, full of unwanted hangers. They would be ideal for his new show, he explained: he had a series of blown-up photographs and the prints would look great dangling from string, in lines, from the coat hangers, high up on the walls of the exhibition space. The new 'installation' opened in Salford in February 2008.

A year before, Lawrence had mounted a show at Salford Museum and Art Gallery. That mainly consisted of family photographs that people had given him and old maps of the area, but the unique feature was a series of road signs, abandoned when that part of Salford was being redeveloped recently. Lawrence had approached the men working on the demolition project and they were happy to save the street signs and let him take them away. They missed some of them, so the artist went back in the dead of night and prised the plaques off the walls of the collapsing buildings himself. It's probably not legal, he agrees, but they're vital relics of bygone days, he says, and need to be saved.

Is everything that Lawrence Cassidy works with 'found' and saved? Not at all, he says. Most of the photographs, he points out, are domestic snaps, donated to him by interested families. He is happy to scan them on to his computer and return the family albums, once the contents have been added to his collection. He collects the views, it seems, and one day he hopes to build up a complete archive on the internet of all the vanished streets of East Salford, an A-Z of lost roads and buildings, most of them swept away in the widespread clearances of the 1970s. People like to remember those times, he says. Visitors to his exhibitions certainly seem to share his enthusiasm, and are happy to stay and chat, swapping stories with other people they meet at the shows. Sometimes people have even met up with old friends and neighbours, men and women they haven't seen for years. They happily remember the old days.

Why? What was so great about these former times? After all, the main focus of Lawrence's exhibition 'Retracing Salford' is on life in the 1950s and '60s. In those days there were street after street of tiny terraced houses, most of them with no inside bathroom, with small bedrooms that sometimes large families had to share. One couple admitted that they came from homes with eight or nine children in them, all of the family sharing a mere three bedrooms. How did they all fit it? Also, at this time, money was scarce and hard to come by. Food was adequate but not often plentiful. Sometimes people went hungry. And yet - The most remarkable thing to come out of the experiences that Lawrence is cataloguing is how happy most people claim to have been. 'Great times', 'Good Days', 'Happy Lives', are just some of the comments. So, in those simple times, before most families owned a television, let alone had a car in the household, people say that they were content and enjoyed life.

There's a huge lesson here for planners and politicians. Too many of these do-gooders seem to be still convinced that all you need for Inner City redevelopment is to demolish the tumble-down houses of yesteryear and replace them with new concrete and glass constructions. Once people have a new bathroom, they argue, they will be happy and content. It isn't true. It wasn't true in the 1970s, the last time that East Salford was 'improved', and it isn't true now. Still the old terraces are still being swept away and new soul-less blocks put up. Still the residents express dissatisfaction. Why is nobody learning lessons from the past?

Satellite Broadband

If you've finally made the upgrade from dial-up to satellite broadband, you already know what a true pleasure it is to have access to high speed, no frills internet. You're downloading music, videos and files faster than ever before. You're watching live streaming videos and participating in any number of all the hottest and newest web 2.0 communities. You twitter. You pay your bills online. You buy all your Christmas and birthday gifts online. You may even do your grocery shopping online. You chat with your grandparents via Skype; you videoconference with friends in France. You have a Second Life.

Satellite internet affords you many services that you never would have had the opportunity of enjoying had you stuck with dial-up. The speeds and the possibilities may even have you taken aback, at least at first. However, all that speed means that you need to take precautions. Internet security is something everyone has to be aware of, whether you've got broadband DSL, cable or satellite internet.

More speed means you can do more things. However, your ability to do more also means you have to be more careful. When you start downloading files, there's a danger of downloading a virus or malware. You have to download safely and learn to recognize that not all files are created equal, and that some carry nasty bots that could devastate your computer.

When you have satellite broadband, before you start getting click happy, do get yourself some antivirus software. This stuff is vital. Viruses abound on the internet and you really don't want to get caught unprepared. There are both commercial and free antivirus programs available. Many programs are available to be downloaded online. Some allow you to use the program for a limited trial period, after which you'll have to pay for a license. Otherwise you can simply venture over to your local computer store and buy antivirus software there. What these programs do is protect or insulate your computer from malware, worms, bots, viruses and the like from getting into your computer and damaging data, stealing information, and generally messing up how your computer works. You have to be sure to keep your software updated constantly, but usually you don't have to worry about this as any antivirus program you get will update automatically.

Mobile Phone For Your Child

Up until very recently, very few children had their own mobile phones. This was partly due to widespread reluctance amongst parents to let their children have them, and partly due to the prohibitive cost of both the handsets themselves and the phone calls made on them.

Affordable phones with pay as you go contracts, and the introduction of specialised phones for children with parental controls built in have changed all this, however, to the point where nearly half of all children under the age of 15 in the UK have their own cell phone, and this figure is growing all the time.

A cell phone can provide parents with a method of getting in touch with their children in an emergency, or to let them know if they are going to be late. Some phones even come with a GPS device, which allows parents to track the movements of their children via a laptop or a PDA, which could be a lifesaver if they go missing.

A lot of parents also see a mobile phone as being a good way to teach children the value of money and how to handle responsibility. Pay as you go phones force children to evaluate their cell phone use in terms of the money that it costs. If they cant afford to go to the movies because they spent all of their pocket money on an hour long phone call, they will soon learn to restrict their phone use to more sensible levels.

However, many parents still have concerns about getting children their own cell phones. As with the internet, a mobile phone can give a child a freedom to communicate with others that you may not be comfortable with, or expose them to influences that you would prefer to shield them from.

Another common concern is that children will run up giant phone bills by talking to their friends all the time, without realizing how much it is costing.

If one wants to investigate their partner's suspected infidelity, then one should hire an investigator that specializes in solving adultery cases. It would not be wise to hire an investigator that specializes in animal rescue for a case concerning the embezzlement of funds. The key thing to remember is to make sure that the investigator that one hires specializes in a field relevant to one's case. This is the first step to success.

The second thing one must do to hire a qualified investigator is look into the investigator's profile once one has found an investigator that seems to be a good match. This will help ensure that the investigator that one is interested in hiring is not a fraud. It is helpful to search the name of the investigator on an internet search engine to see if there are any published complaints about the work of that specific investigator. If complaints show up it would be wise to sift through them. After reading the reviews of the investigator it is a good idea to reconsider if one still believes that the investigator would do a good job. If one ultimately decides after looking into the specific investigator that the investigator is no longer a good match then one should restart the search process. If one does not find any negative information about the investigator then one should keep following the steps to success.
